Very helpful

Ms Rennie was very helpful through a very difficult time.. She was patient and followed up on all my questions and concerns. The outcome was just as she said it would be and I couldn't of asked for more..Highly recommend!

Poor service, only cares about getting paid

Kim was used as part of my divorce, and all she cared about is getting paid. Kim was unprofessional, disrespectful, one-sided, does not listen, and crass. Her attitude is very much listen-to-me, not you <the client>. As a result, I lost a lot and she ended up just wanting to fulfill all her fees. ... The invoice was received and all she cared about is getting paid in full. She did not want to negotiate, take accountability of her poor performance, or understand that her fees were not reasonable. I even offered to negotiate and she still only wanted to get paid in full. If you want to not get good service and layout thousands of dollars of your life to Kim, feel free... I would recommend against it though.

My divorce

She was honest and explained everything so I would understand. She didn’t promise me anything I didn’t receive. She was very professional.

Highly Recommend

Going through a divorce/custody case is an incredibly stressful experience. Kim was with me throughout the entire process and made the experience as smooth as she possibly could. I was an absolute mess at the beginning of the proceedings, and Kim's confidence and professionalism were exactly what I n...eeded to remain strong throughout the trial. After a few months, my faith and trust in her grew tremendously. Every decision that needed to be made, Kim explained the consequences to me thoroughly and was able to guide me towards the choices that were in mine and my child's best interest. Kim took on as much of the stress as she could and told me exactly what she needed and expected from me. Although divorce lawyers are not cheap, she did her best to minimize costs whenever possible. I was able to build a relationship with Kim that went beyond a lawyer/ client relationship and feel proud to say that I think of her as a friend. The trust that we were able to build served me well during the trial because I was comfortable taking the stand. When she questioned me during the hearing, I knew exactly what she was asking and the type of answers she was looking for, and I believe that is because we were able to so freely during the previous months leading up to the trial. Throughout the process, I was able to watch my ex-wife's attorney and compare him to Kim. Every document Kim submitted was written with expertise and professionalism that far outweighed her adversaries. Her demeanor in court was incomparable. I am currently six months removed from the final decision from the court, and I continue to update Kim on my child's life and accomplishments. I feel that Kim played a significant role in my life and I do not know that things would have worked out in my favor if it wasn't for her. People ask me all the time how I was able to get awarded custody of my child as a father, my response is always the same, I had a good lawyer. I have recommended Kim to several other people and feel confident recommending her on this website to anyone going through a divorce/custody trial.

A hard working and honest attorney.

Ms. Rennie exceeded my expectations. My x broke our custody agreement and she was able to navigate the appropriate solution to the problem. I am delighted to say, my x had to pay my attorney's fees. She will fight for what is right.
