I went to John facing 9 points in tickets... in two separate municipalities. John was able to get almost all the points deducted without me paying a fortune in-court fees. John was also willing to lower the cost of representing me, which helped my finances immensely. I know many people fear that a la...wyer will take advantage of them in their vulnerable moments. I had two Disorderly’s and three Felonies. I was looking at possible jail, or at least a felony record if found guilty at trial. Would’ve lost my job of 31 years. Mr. Velez got it reduced to one Disorderly and a Peddy Disorderly! He made sure they were nonviolent offenses which also allowed me to be... eligible to get my firearms back, which were seized as part of an Extreme Risk Protection Order. The Judge ordered the ERPO unnecessary. So now I can get my firearms back when probation is over in a year. He also convinced the judge to issue a Civil Restriction. So if the other party tries to sue they can not use my guilty plea in the Civil Suit. Mr. Velez is an amazing lawyer who is worth every penny and more. He was honest with me at every part of the lengthy process. He has saved my family and I a lot of heartache. We will always be grateful to him for the great job he did. John is a real unique individual who not only listened to our needs but provided us insightful options. But john had no issues in telling me what he thought was the best option. John was very reasonably priced for the services he offered, but more because he was sharp at assessing the situation, dete...rmining a solution and resolving the matter in a timely fashion rather then being a cost effective alternative that didn’t have the insight to resolve the matter to a clients best need. I have tried the lower cost options but that tempting entry point only proved itself when the solution provided by those lawyers was inferior and in the end cost me more. I never met John before i Hired him, but the trusted recommendation was only reinforced when I met him, saw the way he thought about my case, brought a level of levity and drove it home. I have said a lot but these words could not even express what a stand up guy john was. Thank you john, i hope i never have to use your services again, but if i need them i will always know i am in good hands!

One more I watch him before I applied for a public defender, and he could have argued that the. Charges against the defendant should be drop on grounds of prosecutorly misconduct because the chief prosecutor didnt have the discovery evidence and I wasnt wrong or paranoid here New York license was sus...pended go figure and with him his assistant openly admitted that my case isn't that important due to fact that am not being him even told he is getting paid by the state of New Jersey $200
