I had two Disorderly’s and three Felonies. I was looking at possible jail, or at least a felony record if found guilty at trial. Would’ve lost my job of 31 years. Mr. Velez got it reduced to one Disorderly and a Peddy Disorderly! He made sure they were nonviolent offenses which also allowed me to be... eligible to get my firearms back, which were seized as part of an Extreme Risk Protection Order. The Judge ordered the ERPO unnecessary. So now I can get my firearms back when probation is over in a year. He also convinced the judge to issue a Civil Restriction. So if the other party tries to sue they can not use my guilty plea in the Civil Suit. Mr. Velez is an amazing lawyer who is worth every penny and more. He was honest with me at every part of the lengthy process. He has saved my family and I a lot of heartache. We will always be grateful to him for the great job he did. John and his secretary handled a case for me with speed and professionalism. They were both highly responsive to both emails and phone calls. He worked favorably with myself, the prosecutor and judge. His demeanor both outside and inside of court was incredibly fitting to the situation (meaning I ...never felt uncomfortable in a nerve wracking situation). I would definitely hire him again, though hopefully won't need to, but surely recommend him.

Mr. Velez was able to have my charges dropped completely even though this was my second offense for the same crime. I am sure that 99% of the other lawyers would have only been able to get a reduced sentence. I believe his strength from a laymans perspective is his ability to to not tell the whole tr...uth while at the same time not specifically lie in court. The only reason I do not have a criminal record is because of this man, highly recommend him to anyone.

I had a few outstanding warrants due to FTAs and non compliance with payment plans and probation. I retained Mr. Velez to help me resolve the matters. He had all warrants lifted. I was looking at jail time for probation, he had that turned into a probation reinstatement. He had payment plans reinstat...ed and one balance completely resolved and an outstanding criminal case completely thrown out. I'm so grateful for him being my lawyer. I highly recommend him. He made my life so much easier after helping me. I would use him absolutely again!
