Angelo Dattolo

Imagine my continued surprise when this " legal professional" failed to even ask for a survey for a home I'm purchasing. Some should find another profession or go chase ambulances. It was bad enough at every inquiry I was made to feel I was wrong to ask seller to address home inspection findings but... then this which is customarily done. 22 years of law you should know better. No excuse for subpar services.

Angela was wonderful to work with. My mortgage got all messed up and I had a deadline to hit in order to leave town. He worked hard for two days helping me work the mortgage company so we got the paperwork needed to close. Most important, as I was short on patience and short on time, Angelo assured m...e it would work out and it did.

Angelo was wonderful in helping us close on our home. We were first time buyers and he was helpful and available when we had questions. After we closed and had been in house a couple weeks the seller called saying there was an error in our closing costs and we owed more money. We called Angelo and h...e immediately got on phone, opened file and again assisted us in understanding/resolving our issue. I would recommend him.

I can not say enough good things about Angelo Dattolo. No lawyer anywhere would have done what he did for us. We had been living in an hotel for 3 months with two small kids and two large dogs. We needed to get out of there. Our closing was supposed to be the Friday morning 9am before Labor day. ...Nothing was working right - the title company, the mortgage company. Everything was all falling apart. By 3pm the sellers lawyer was going to leave his office. It was a holiday weekend. Everyone was leaving their offices. Angelo asked the sellers lawyer to stay while he worked everything out for us. He worked all day on just our case. None of the problems were his fault, but he fixed every one of them and by 8pm Friday we were in our own house. He was kind, understanding, he walked us through every step. Even our realtor said she was going to be recommending him for all her clients. I can't imagine that the two previous reviews are really true. Angelo does not advertise, his business is all word of mouth. I understand why now. He's a lawyer and answers his own phone! He calls people back! I'm not sure why anyone would say anything bad about this lawyer. I will recommend him to everyone I know.

I must say, the previous reviewer has Angelo Dattolo's number spot on. I thought a poor experience was mine alone, perhaps the result of simply not having any chemistry with this man. However, I too have been subject to condescending episodes as well, and will share two of my most memorable experie...nces. During one instance, Mr. Dattolo attempted to use his nationality to justify his ill-mannered behavior; not only was I flabbergasted by his petty immaturity, I was further astounded to receive a blank stare as a means of an apology. All this grief for asking a question about a contingency? As my closing date approached, I couldn't help but notice that Mr. Dattolo seemed to have forgotten who he was representing, as he came charging at me with the other client's best interests in mind! Mr. Dattolo clearly has some issues in dealing with people, which is not what I expected to encounter dealing with his "small town" firm. If anyone were to ask who exactly Mr. Dattolo was, I would strongly affirm that he is not the real estate attorney he believes he is esteemed as. Fellow buyers and sellers, beware; it is more fitting for a high school football player to display such arrogance, not a business professional.
