I must admit and I cannot tell a lie here; I never gave much thought to an attorney for representation as I always assumed they were "sheisters" and "ambulance chasers" but I could have been more incorrect in my assumptions when it came time to hire Elliot. I had an issue that needed professional... guidance, and a tactful approach and he had both, plus he was 100x smarter than the attorney representing the other side. Needless to say, we (well HE) won the case. If you need a Family Attorney for Divorce or Child Custody or Child Support (like I did) and you don't hire Elliot, you should prepare yourself to do TWO THINGS: 1) LOSE 2) LOSE MONEY Elliot is the best, the best, the best, the best. I recommend him to anyone who wants excellent representation without a wallet raping!

I originally hired Elliot to represent me for a change in child support that was presented by my EX’s attorney. Not only did he help make sure I was paying my fair share, he also negotiated additional custody time with my chid, which I thought was going to be impossible. Elliot was a true partner ...and advocate for my family in this endeavor, cutting through the nonsense of items presented by the opposing party and focusing on what mattered most, my child. He was honest, knowledgeable, straight forward and conscience of costs. In the end he helped facilitate a compromise that I was more than satisfied with while avoiding having to go to court.

Elliot took my case knowing I was against a rock and a hard place financially. He was receptive and showed interest in helping me gain overnights and days with my children. While the case didn't go completely in my favor, he was able to take steps to ensure that we were able to reach most if not all... our wants. When I say that he generally cares it isn't just a hollow compliment. There have been times when we have run into each other and the first thing he always asks is how are my girls doing, then he asks how the situation is. To me that is priceless. Its the characteristics of someone who has feelings. While in court there were things I didnt agree with which I should have just taken his advice. But there was another attorney in the hallway who happened to hear my concern and he said to me "you have the best guy here." Which at the days end was true. Elliot put my nerves at ease, explained everything that I needed to understand and his friendly and calm demeanor made the process which is ridiculously stressful a little bit less taxing on me. In the courtroom the two attorneys met the Judge in his chambers and when the Honorable Judge came to the courtroom the first thing he mentioned was how both attorneys were prepared and passionate in their presentation. Elliot was also able to correct a mistake that was made and was going to cost me greatly, to which he was able to get it fixed and the Judge was quick to point out his ability to do so. I HIGHLY recommend Elliot Solop, if you are at all nervous or worried. Even if you feel your back is against the wall, you not only have a chance with Elliot to get the best result for your situation you will be able to relax and be at ease knowing that Elliot is doing everything he possibly can for you!!! I would and did trust him with the most important people in my life!!!
