Ray Raya represented me in early Spring of 2024. I was absolutely petrified, and sick to my stomach for months looking for a reputable lawyer. For starters, I am a military officer and I got myself into a bit of trouble back in 2015 - I was charged with DUI, Assault by Auto, Leaving the Scene, Open Container, and 10 additional charges across two municipalities. Mr. Raya and his legal team is second to none. My attorney (who I will not name)... at the time consolidated the offenses, however failed to stop an indictment by a Grand Jury and the matters were sent to Superior Court. The same attorney failed to inform the Courts that I was to be on Military Orders and I subsequently missed the Arraignment. Upon returning from Active Duty Orders, I was arrested and spent a night in jail. When I showed up to the Court date in Municipal Court, I was greeted with the knowledge that my charges had been sent to Superior Court. Upon recognizing these failures, I did not know what to do. Fortunately, a friend referred me to Mr. Raya. I was skeptical at first, and given how everything was a mess I knew something needed to be done. I decided to reach out and after meeting with Ray and explaining my rapidly deteriorating situation, chose to retain his counsel, and released the previous attorney. Results were almost immediate. Ray and his team worked tirelessly, and within 9 months the most serious charges had been taken care of and the traffic violations were remanded back to Municipal Court, and not even 6 months the remaining serious charges were dropped, including the DUI. I have dozens of friends; former professors and former classmates who are attorneys who practice all fields of Law, and bar none, Ray is the best trial lawyer I have ever met. He is personable, and not only is he an expert in his advertised practice, he hires the right people. Tara is quick to respond, attentive, and up to speed on each client. I used Ray for a problem I had with a neighbor. I was so upset and anxious over everything. Ray kept me well informed the whole time. He also had the innate ability to make me laugh and help me to see the cup half full when I was going through a dark time. He did a wonderful job with the case.
