Failed to file a simple loan modification application correctly. He further used the NCIB laws, that protect consumers, by insisting our mortgage company had sent him the wrong information. He filed many Notice Of Errors, cost me so much money, with the end result being the same every time. One examp...le, my mortgage payoff figure, for one. He worked on things that I did not authorize him to do, refused to explain, unwarranted charges, then ignored multiple phone calls to call me back. When he did, unknown to me, he charged me for those calls as well. Emails? Same thing. Either no response, or a response of no value, and was also charged for it. Mr Cohen at that point, was replaced by a more competent attorney who started and finished the job for less, and to my satisfaction. I felt Mr Cohen was deceived us, and for that, I would never recommend him to anyone.

Mr. Cohen, Is a excellent attorney with a a fantastic legal assistant Tammy. He explained everything about bankruptcy that i need to know and what he could do for me.Mr Cohen took all the time needed to make sure I had a full understanding of the bankruptcy. His ability to insert calm into a very ...turbulent time for me told me he was the lawyer for me. I would highly recommend Mr Cohen.

Was drowning in debt not sleeping and eating my heart out. Searched for bankruptcy lawyers in monmouth county and His firm popped up. Had a free consult and he immediately put me at ease and actually LISTENED instead of talking over me. We laughed i almost cried and i hired him. While not as cheap as... other firms which farm out the work to software and assistants he actually works and is a pleasure to deal with. I Was a bit of a pain in the Tuches but he took it in stride and with a smile. Fast forward to today and my 341 hearing i was over prepared which was an excellent thing as it made a scary and embarrassing situation easy. In short i highly recommend the services of his firm. This man is a scam artist. Hindsight is always 20/20 and I can see now how deceitful and misleading he was. From day one interacting with him it was a lie. We were told without a doubt from all of his experience that we would qualify for a chapter 7. Not only did that not happen. But we ended up in a... chapter 13 paying 100% of the bebt back! Now I'm searching for a second job as well as my wife to try and afford the massive monthly payment. A real attorney would have known this from the start and never advised to go through with it. All he cared about was his money that he made off of a family struggling to stay afloat because I lost my well paying job due to matters out of my control. Do yourself a favor and seek better representation!
