Do not even think of reaching out to this woman if you were debating on it. She is vile and rude. And for working in the law firm, she sure loves to break laws. She's one of those kinds of people that have no hope of even seeing the wrong in how they behave or treat others. The bad reviews aren't one... off incidents, it is consistent in who she is as a person. Linda, you will see the consequences of your actions. Doubt you'd learn from it, though.

I would absolutely not recommend Ms Strauss for an attorney. Like another respondent said she is condescending, but more than that she will drain a retainer and do absolutely nothing. These are some things we asked her to do. Subpoena a bank signature card, and move a court date. She did neithe...r. We asked her to contact a writing analyst, which she didn't, and told us how much it would cost. We told her when we would have the money. She waited 5 days past that to respond as to who she found. One who accepts check or... Zelle. Seriously. Now since this was obviously time sensitive it was infuriating to say the least. We gave her what she wanted and stated to show we had more interaction with our Aunt who died than our sister who made a fake Last Will and Testament. To that, we asked to Subpoena her phone records, which she refused. (Mind you my sister, the one I talk now, but haven't for years had last real contact with her; which she dismissed.) What she'll do is call you "hostile" for keeping emails short as to not waste anymore money when you realize you are stuck with her. And truly, I think she works with other attorneys such as who we have to deal with now on our own, because there wasn't enough time for other attorneys to file who I talked to. She was a wasted of close to 3k, which we plan on going to the bar with our complaints. For someone who "defends" domestic violence victims, she sure doesn't have compassion or understanding on how the way things actually go, or care to... well as long as the lights are on at her house.

Ms. Linda Strauss works for a owner who took a 1 family home made it into a 2 family illegally deemed so by the City Of Newark code enforcement the owner rented it out 2 to Section 8 tenants getting 4600 dollars a month from Section 8 and the owner of the house wasn't paying the mortgage so it went i...nto foreclosure the tenant on the second floor had to abruptly move out with her children when it was deemed illegal tenant on the 1 st floor stayed she has a child and informed Section8 all what was happening so they told her to move as anyone know it's not easy finding a place . Section 8put the place in abatement because there was also things that needed to be done and the owners misdeeds so they came after the tenant on the first floor for the entire rent of which Ms. Linda Strauss took the tenant to court lied to the judge saying she's not a Section 8 tenant had the young lady evicted. The young lady went to court to get a seven day stay this is the kicker the landlord doesn't even own the house anymore it's been foreclosed she found out that tenant was granted a stay she's harassing the tenant and threatening her aswell Ms Linda Stauss is a Nasty lying lawyer . Moving forward she will be reported to the American Bar Association.
