unprofessional

I hired Brian to help with post divorce concerns. Brian's work was sloppy from the cover page of documents submitted to court- paragraph inadvertently cut and pasted from an email to another client regarding their case. I was advised its not a big deal. I let it go- we all make mistakes, but was unea...sy b/c there was no acknowledgement of my concern or apology. Receipts for 20k of expenses were omitted until at least 5 follow up emails were sent (that I was billed for), also told it was not a big deal- the judge won't look at them. I followed up after consulting another attorney and learning they absolutely needed to be submitted. He didn't submit an important time sensitive document until it was too late. Brian either blamed me for his mistakes, or said they were not a big deal and didn't matter. I consulted with 2 attorneys when I was uneasy with his handling of my case. My concerns were validated- one attorney shared valuable insights, and advised it is not worth the cost to start over, another was confident it could be cleaned up if I was willing to pay another retainer, but significantly more than the expenses I was owed. The firm was fair with billing in the end, but disheartening to trust an attorney to advocate for me, and have to doubt myself, pay for additional consults because I was uneasy, significant time and money wasted, and now an empowered ex husband with no accountability to follow the order, which I didn't know was issued until my ex referred to it several times. I had to ask for it to be sent. Which wasn't a surprise at that point.

Awesome Lawyer

I want to say Attorney Brian McCann and his staff are awesome. I was hesitant to let him take my case because of the long distance. I started looking online for attorneys and spoke to many. What made Brian unique was the time he took with me on the phone he was not rushing me to get to the point of t...he case he let me say everything I wanted to say, other lawyers just did not want to hear everything they wanted just the reason of me calling them. I am in a different state but he heard me out without hesitation he started working on my case and within a week and a half case closed. I would recommend him to anyone he was on top of everything and takes the time to thoroughly listen to you.
