Very personable. Too much so in advocacy. Advocacy is very passive too meek for confrontations in court. Was dissuaded from the one motion I wanted for visitation as too costly. But took the initiative to file a motion (at the same high cost) to unsucessfully make a grab for his fees. His adversary was pro se and blow him away in oral arguments before the court. Rob is great guy. Someone who would be a great friend. But in the heat of argument he withers instantly.
He is well liked. Perhaps that always being a likable guy reputation in the courts is the reason zealous advocacy is retreat. If you need a strong advocate in court, Rob is the classic nice guy that will not stand up when needed.
Over promise and under deliver. I felt on the defensive the who time and spent $1,000's too soon on his advise.
$30,000 in fees amassed before trial.

Robert was and remains an asset that I turn to deal with my divorce related issues.
Not only was Mr. Kane instrumental in having a large (unexpected) payment made to me by my ex-wife, but he was also instrumental in having child custody removed from my ex-wife and now my kids are with me full time.
I highly recommend Mr. Kane to assist you with your legal concerns.
