Franklin Gregory Soto

Mr. Soto has been the family attorney for 3 generations now. My father owned a stream of businesses for over 15 years. With these particular properties, Mr. Soto represented us as the buyer's attorney and later as the seller's attorney. In other words, we started and we ended with him. I first met Frank at a closing where he was the seller's attorney and my husband and I were the buyers. It seemed like he handled his clients needs better than what the attorney we had hired did. The fact that my husband has a language barrier made me think that the next time we needed an attorney..., it would make sense to hire someone that spoke the same language as my husband even though I don't have a language problem. Which is exactly what we did. So in June of 2000, when my husband and I bought our first property, we hired him. The outcome was great with the negotiation process, the closing and of course the attorney fees. Everything was handled in a timely manner and has ever since. Even in minor issues or major concerns, Frank has been our legal advisor. Economically, my husband and I have grown. Mr. Franklin Soto deserves ZERO starst! I had gone to Mr. Franklin Soto for legal advise regarding Spanish legal documents pertaining to a deceased parent will/estate. I first called his office to find out if Mr. Soto was qualified or even accepts this type of case. Mr. Soto's receptionist stated "Mr.... Franklin Soto states what he can accept only by making an appointment." So I made an appointment. I presented and Mr. Soto directed me to his "no air conditioned room" or "sauna office" and I handed him the legal documents. Literally, in one minute, he looked up and stated, "duh, these documents are listing you as one of the heirs." I said, "I know that, but, why am I receiving the documents 10 years after my parent's death?" Mr. Franklin Soto, stated, "duh, I don't know and that will be $50.00 fee for today's consult." This useless appointment literally was no more than 5 minutes!!! And he charged me $50.00.  I reached out to another Attorney, Mr. Cevasco, at the "Archer & Greiner Firm" in Hackensack NJ. The new attorney, Mr. Cevasco asked me to fax him my legal papers and he will get back to me. Within the week,  Mr. Cevasco got back to me and explained in detail what the documents entailed: someone had filed for an court order in regards to either property, bank accounts, or just something of value, in which, I would need legal representation in that country that the legal documents were sent from. Mr. Cevasco did NOT even charge me!!!!
