He literally wasted our time and money ($2,500), and ruined a perfectly winnable case. We had a situation where we were young first time home buyers and the sellers who sold us this house UNDESPUTIBLY lied to us in the contract about the property never flooding. We had photo evidence and witnes...ses, and yet he managed to LOOSE the case and blame the judge over it. I cried my eyes out that day, I had Just had a baby and had to live in this new scam of a house, we worked SO hard to collect all of the relevant information, and everyone I had spoken to said we had an undeniable case. Yet his lack of enthusiasm and perhaps lack of experience made us loose it all with no options left. I don't even think the judge was impressed with him. I am still dumbfounded as to how it all unfolded, what a fool I was. Not to mention this guy will take A WEEK to get back to your emails, even when you respond IMMEDIATELY. It was THE MOST FRUSTRATING THING communicating with him or asking him questions, he would even get snarky in some of his responses. Does he have another full time job that he does and this is just his side hustle? I don't know, but I will NEVER EVER go back to him. He is a liar, he overpromises and oversells. He sounded so good on the phone at first, and so genuine. But I quickly saw right through all of that as I worked with him. Wish I could get my money back. Never again.

I had an issue with my previous landlord in where he would not give me back my security deposit. We had agreed that the house was left in good condition and that he should be returning the entire security deposit. I tried countless times to contact the landlord with no success. I then decided to reac...h out to avvo and have an attorney handle this matter. Avvo suggested working with Hikmat. I reached out to Hikmat via email and he later called me to confirm an appointment in the following days. I briefly explained the matter over the phone and told him I would bring the documents to his office during our appointment. The following week I went to his office which was very conveniently located in Montclair with a private conference room so we can go over the physical documents I provided. Hikmat was very professional and was listening to all of my concerns in regards to this matter. He was very understanding and assured me he will do all in his power to reach out the landlord and have him provide us with the security deposit in which I was entitled to. As the days went on, Hikmat followed up with me about once a week and on the third week, he called to follow up and also confirm that he had received the security deposit check. I would definitely recommend him to friends and family in the future.
