Terrible Lawer and person. Case got denied because of his neglignce and mistake.

Do not trust this man. He does not deserve even 1 star review! Most of the time he was clueless and could not tell me anything about my case. Hired him 3 years ago and basically paid him for nothing. Takes way too many cases that he can handle. When I asked him for the copy of my case he wasn't eve...n aware where to look for it and what was going on with it. The denial of the case was because of his NEGLIGENCE and unprofessional services.

Horrible !!!!!!!!!!

This man is a thief! As everyone else stated this man misrepresented us in a time of need to help my husband, I did all the paperwork for him and suggested what we should do such as a waiver for immigration, I had my doubts but I followed threw until the court hearing thinking he would have the case... together , the bond hearing was scheduled for 9am he showed up at 9:55pm and had one of his clients in the stand waiting for him the judge already looked at him as he was a joke .. Witch he is .. He never answered any of my questions that I had and never acted as a Laywer is suppose to. He gave my husband false hope and made him want to just get deported, he never filed the correct paperwork and then after are hearing ran away like a child and wouldn't Even speak to out family after paying him $2000 for absolutely nothing .. Stay away from this man at all costs I'm going to the board about him he doesn't deserve to have his license to represent anyone!!!!!

To much work on his table.

I think he takes more work than he can handle. I need personalized work with attention to detail, not a generalized view of unresponsive actions. Clueless most of the time. Sends other people other than himself to represent you. I did not feel safe whatsoever, I was always at doubt of the outcome. Wh...ere is the feeling that someone will fight for you 100%?

Dishonest, Ineffective, Unreliable - I would AVOID this man.

We hired Arturo Suarez-Silverio for a bond hearing, and then to represent us in our immigration/asylum hearing after. We fired him immediately after the bond hearing, when he failed us miserably. He couldn't even remember his client's (my father's) name! He did not present ANY arguments to the co...urt at all, it was embarrassing, hurtful and extremely detrimental to our case. We've lost years because of his awful lack of any kind of reasonable to expect performance. Even the judge loudly noted his complete unpreparedness! After court we learned that he did not even submit our packet of evidence, letters and documents in time, the same packet he had us prepare for two weeks. Needless to say, we lost the case completely and didn't even have anything to appeal as all our arguments remained un-exhausted due to Suarez's failure to submit our evidence. Months later, my father had found out from several other detainees in immigration jail that Suarez had actually treated at least 2 other immigrants who were now filing complaints against him and looking to re-open their cases on the basis of ineffective assistance of council. Our experience was very similar to what we were told -- our money was taken and the job was Not done at all, putting our case in a much worse position than when we hired him. Also to note something that I think is indicative of Arturo Suarez Silverio's character and how he does "his business" is that he did not offer us even a dime of our $2,000+ fee back, nor did he mention anything about representing us pro bono to make up for his complete and utter failure at the bond hearing. Finally, a week or two after I fired him, when we both happened to be at the same immigration building. he actually had the nerve to come up to us to offer us his representation again. I did not take him up on his offer, and I would strongly suggest you avoid his unprofessional services too.
