Relentless, Passionate, Efficient, and Analytical

Sean worked with me through a very unique and difficult, 26 month divorce that contained a criminal component. Every time a new obstacle presented itself, we collaborated to find new, uncharacteristic, or creative ways to productively move the divorce forward. He knows the law well and represented m...e with passion at every case management conference. His passion was backed by a strong foundational understanding of the law and the details of my case. His prosecutorial background also proved to be very advantageous because of my complicated case. These attributes are what help him to be so effective in front of judges and adversarial attorneys. Throughout this process, I truly felt like he cared about me on a human level, far beyond what I would expect from a lawyer / client relationship. His colleague, Carolyn Daly, also played a big part of helping bring my divorce across the finish line. We all consulted as needed, throughout the process, to ensure that every possible path forward was investigated and, if determined to be the best option, carried out. Sean is well equipped to handle not only the standard divorce proceeding, but also motion hearings and appeals. His is a wiz with numbers and helped me to better understand all financial aspects of a divorce proceeding. His style and delivery during case management conferences is assertive and effective because his arguments are based on a strong understanding of matrimonial law. My situation was a very unique and difficult one. The deck was stacked against me in many ways. Sean, with Carolyn's help, found a way to resolve the divorce in a way that was as fair as possible under the circumstances. If I had it to do this all over again (and God willing, I never will) Sean is the person I would choose to represent me. If you are reading this and don't consider consulting with him, you will wind up leaving something on the table during your divorce. Thanks Sean, for everything that you and Carolyn did for me. There will always be a place in my heart for you both.

Great Divorce Attorney who "gets it" and is able to handle high conflict cases

Sean is an excellent divorce attorney, one of those who "get it" when it comes to handling high conflict cases. He is very bright, well organized and diligent, with high attention to details and focus on the end goal. His prior experience as a prosecutor helped us to make good use of extensive eviden...ce and to disprove multiple false allegations raised by the opposing party. On top of it he was always respectful, supportive and friendly. My divorce should have been simple: short marriage, no kids, hardly any assets, however it lasted for 2 years because I was divorcing a famous anarchist known from his fake profile on fb as "Donatello Tomasso": a self-proclaimed social media "celebrity" and author of hateful racial and political fake news, who wanted drama instead of resolution. He was obsessed with destroying me - just to show his world how it is done. At first I was represented for 6 months by another attorney, but he was not able to handle the pace and failed to protect me from harassment. What a huge difference when I retained Sean Gaynor!!! Sean was fast and efficient, strongly focused on eliminating the noise and determining the facts. Even during the pandemic, when everything froze, he still managed to keep things moving forward. Because of his strong logic and no-nonsense approach I got finally divorced and regained my freedom. If you are divorcing a reasonable partner who is willing to settle, then go for it, because it will cost you much less than the NJ Family Court system and legal fees. However if you are targeted by a high-conflict individual who has no will to end "the game", then Sean Gaynor is your hope. I was lucky to have Sean and his amazing paralegal Donna on my side. I can't thank them enough for saving me.

Highly Recommend!

Sean Gaynor is an excellent attorney who delivered everything he said he would. I had a fairly complicated divorce which became more complicated due to some unfair treatment by Probate. Sean uncomplicated my case, appeased Probate and allowed me to move forward unimpeded. He is very bright and dilige...nt. This is an attorney who gets things done!
