I consulted him for a civil case. He charged me 1,000 to write a letter that took less than 30 minutes (this fee included 4 hours ×250 per hour). It was obvious that he didn't read all the documentation I provided. I paid with two different checks in December. Last time I spoke with him was on Janua...ry 9th, 2017. Since them I have called him and left messages without any reply. I have sent him two emails without any reply. I spoke with secretary. He took my money! How unprofessional! I feel helpless and cheated by the person I trusted and paid.

Mateo Perez was a pleasure to have represent me. He is a public defendant, although I hired him privately in both courts in which he represented me. He was able to ammend my charges to exactly what he had promised me, and I would recommend him to anybody who may have gotten themselves into any troubl...e in Bergen County. His services were very professional, and he was very curteous and knowledgeable. While his rate for representation is a bit expensive, it is well worth it. All in all, a great attorney.
