Supportive, creative, and diligent

Darin was recommended by my divorce attorney for the resulting short sale of my home. He helped make the process understandable, navigable and, ultimately, negotiated a favorable situation for me. He or a member of his team was always available. He went the extra mile personally to accommodate my sch...edule and location when it came time for the final paperwork to be signed. I highly recommend Darin.

Excellant, Thorough, Sensitive

I have engaged this attorney for two different matters regarding mortgage and short sale. In each matter he was successful in getting a workable situation for us; additionally, his staff was first rate. In particular, he was sensitive regarding our financial plight; I never thought I would be in fi...nancial trouble or having my mortgage in jeopardy-I was humiliated to say the least. Mr. Pinto assured me that this was a normal situation and then many are facing hard times, regardless of position or title. He made discussing these matters comfortable and removed the air of shame I experienced. Since originally engaging Mr. Pinto I have sent two associates to him and they have both had a positive, similar outcome. I would recommend Mr. Pinto to all facing mortgage problems without hesitation or reservation.

Absentee Owner - Legal Counsel Related to Termination of Tenancy Agreement and Sale of Property

As an absentee owner of a rental property in northern New Jersey, I required legal counsel related to termination of a contentious Tenancy Agreement pursuant to listing and sale of the property. Mr. Pinto was recommended to me by my realtor. I found Mr. Pinto to be an experienced real estate at...torney and very knowledgeable with respect to my rights and obligations as a landlord and the proper steps to conclude the Tenancy Agreement. He laid out a course of recommended action(s) tailored to my end objective. From that point forward, he acted on my behalf in negotiations with the tenants to wrap up the Tenancy Agreement. He further represented me in a very smooth and hassle free closing of the property sale. I found Mr. Pinto to be a pragmatic thinker and problem solver. During the period of the retainer, he communicated closely with me on progress and issues encountered in the negotiations. Lastly, in my view Mr. Pinto's fees were reasonable and services rendered exceeded my expectation. Without reservation, I recommend Mr. Pinto to anyone who requires legal counsel related to Tenancy Agreements and/or listing and sale of real estate.

Disappointed

I would discourage home buyers from engaging in business with this law firm. My husband and I hired Fabian Pinto, Darin Pinto and their Paralegal James to assist us in the purchase of two separate homes. During the first transaction significant information was kept from us (e.g. The home we were pu...tting an offer in was in Attorney Review before we submitted our offer). Our offer was not accepted by this seller but the competing buyer has now become a neighbor. Our offer was responsible for driving their home purchase price up, without our knowledge. They participated in the purchase of our current home and the sale of our previous home. Both attorneys were very hard to reach over the phone. When we called their office we were told that they were busy in a closing and unable to return our phone calls or that they were out of town. When the days came to close on our two homes to our amazement neither attorney attended EITHER closing. We were told that they are too busy to attend closings. We had a relatively smooth closing of the home we purchased. In contrast the closing of the home we sold was a disaster. One of the contractual agreements of the sale of our home was that we, the seller, would not address any issues other than structural or operational. The paralegal, have a time conflict with the closing of the house we were selling. He stayed long enough to complete what he considered necessary paperwork. However, after he left the purchaser refused to continue until we, the seller, paid $400 to remove a sandbox. Because of our pack of representation this issue gained momentum. At one point after yelling at us Fabian Pinto refused to accept our phone calls because in our frustration we used an expletive. In the end we were stuck with the $400 bill because we had no representation at our closing. As you can imagine the bill arrived on time with no adjustment for their lack of service.

Fantastic Lawyer that looks out for his clients!

Darin helped navigate the short sale of my home with great success! I had a credit union that was extremely difficult to deal with and he was very knowledgeable and trustworthy. He kept me informed at every stage of the process and he was very patient in answering any questions or concerns that I had.... He has an awesome team and they all work hard for you. I highly recommend Darin D. Pinto!
