Marc R Brown

Marc is well known and has been honored by the Bench and Bar not only for his staunch advocacy, but also for his ability to help clients understand the long-term benefits of working toward an amicable resolution of issues that may exist between them and their spouses or significant others.  This reputation has led to his frequent appointment by the court to serve as an arbitrator, mediator and guardian ad litem.  He also maintains an extensive private mediation and arbitration practice. 

Marc has been acknowledged by his peers on multiple occasions with the Super Lawyer and Best Lawyers in America designations, and has been inducted into the World Wide Registry as a lifetime member.  He has also been honored by the Union County Bar Association with the prestigious William J. McCloud Award in recognition of his contributions to the family part in Union County, New Jersey.

Marc has always been willing to assume positions of leadership, both personally and professionally, having served, among other things, as President of the Union County Bar Association, as a member of the Board of Trustees, Family Law Executive and Legislative Committees of the New Jersey State Bar Association and as Chair of the Supreme Court (District XII) Ethics Committee after having been appointed by the New Jersey Supreme Court.  He is also a frequent speaker on family law issues at the state and local level and has authored articles in the area of the law.  Marc has served as President of the Cranford Rotary Club by which he was named a Paul Harris Fellow in recognition of his service to his communtiy.  He has served as a member and Chairman of the Cranford Zoning Board of Adjustment, and as Attorney for the Cranford Planning Board and as a coach within the Cranford Police Athletic and Recreation Leagues.
