Lawyer that does not work for you or your best interest
I hired John in May 2019 landlord tenant and it was a nightmare. First off he missed the court date which was reschedule and delayed the process further. He was so passive and let the other attorney dictates to what she wanted, and at the end I lost almost 3k and it took 10 months to evict after re...
Former client is currently being sued for failure to pay his legal bill. I suspect that is the reason for his fallacious statements. The only accurate part of this review is that one court date was re-scheduled. The reason was that another case in another county, which was scheduled for 11am, carried over into the afternoon and I wound up stuck there all day. The case was delayed thirteen days as a result. Everything else is false. Former client hired me for the first time in connection with this case in July, 2019, not May. At that time, former client’s tenant had already withheld four months of rent. He did hire another attorney before me, who filed a case in June, 2019, which was dismissed. Former client never came to court on this case, so he has no basis to assert that I was passive; in fact, there was a trial and former client prevailed. Former client was disappointed with the court’s ruling, which awarded a partial rent rebate to the tenant because of the habitability of the property. Former client waited almost three months to file another case against the same tenant, with a new attorney, which, speaking of passivity, HE AND THE NEW ATTORNEY SETTLED WITH THE TENANT. Interestingly, former client appeared in court on that case. I hereby demand that former client immediately cease and desist making false statements about me. In addition, I hereby demand that you remove the libelous statements from any website or social media outlet. If not, I will avail myself of all legal and equitable remedies, in which case former client will be liable for compensatory and punitive damages, attorney’s fees, and court costs. In light of the potential for legal action, former client has a legal duty to preserve and retain all documents and communications that may contain or lead to the discovery of evidence admissible in a court of law or equity. Failure to preserve documents or electronically stored information may result in criminal charges, fines, and other penalties.
