Grateful for all he did

I walked into John's office one day after finding out that my landlord was charging me more than the legal rent-controlled rent. John was incredibly well versed in landlord-tenant law, rent control in particular, and immediately filed a lawsuit for treble damages under the New Jersey Consumer Fraud... Act. We ultimately prevailed and I recovered more than three times the amount that I was overcharged, plus all of my attorney fees. I am very satisfied with John's high level of service, expertise, and professionalism.

Excellence

I first contacted John when I found out that my landlord had overcharged me for my rent-controlled apartment. He was very well versed in rent control law, and advised me to sue under the New Jersey Consumer Fraud Act. In less than one year, the landlord paid me three times the amount that I was overc...harged and all of my attorney fees. I highly recommend John for his knowledge, professionalism, efficiency, and trustworthiness.

Excellent Job!

He "owned" my issue. He negotiated for me. He made sure I came out as ahead as I could. Would definitely use again. Very nice guy.

Good

I walked into John's office right after I had come from court. I lived in my mother's house my whole life, and after she decided to give me the house, my sister hired a lawyer to take it back from me. I was completely blindsided and didn't know if I could even afford an attorney for such an important... case. John quickly put my mind at ease. He walked me through the litigation process step by step, and was always a phone call away. At some points throughout the case, I was unsure of what the judge's ultimate decision would be. But John reassured me that I had a strong case, and that if he were in my position, he would not settle. He thoroughly prepared me for trial, and the judge ruled in my favor. We won. Even more importantly, after the victory, my relationship with my mother has been renewed.

Excellent Landlord Tenant Lawyer in Hudson County, New Jersey

We had a serious problem, our disabled adult son (who lives on his own) had two eviction proceedings filed against him by his landlord. John represented us and had the first eviction dismissed because the landlord didn't file properly. In the second eviction John was able to work out an agreement wit...h the landlord allowing our son to keep his apartment. John listens, assesses the information and then presents the case to the Judge or mediator. In our cases we had both a mediator and a trial. John prevailed in both cases. John's office is not on Park Avenue in New York but gives you Park Avenue style service. John's mannerism and legal expertise are straightforward and to the point. We would highly recommend John Salierno for any Landlord Tenant situation.
