Jasmine Story is a family law attorney with vast experience in all aspects of family law matters, including divorce; equitable division and distribution of marital assets; legal separations; domestic violence matters; complicated child custody, child visitation and child support matters; paternity actions; prenuptial and postnuptial agreements; alimony enforcement, modification and termination; post-divorce matters; mediation; and related family matters.

Recognizing that every family law case is unique, Ms. Story works collaboratively with her clients, listening carefully to their needs and responding with smart strategies and legal solutions. Understanding that her clients are navigating difficult personal matters, Ms. Story zealously advocates for their best interests, deploying tactical negotiation when possible and robust litigation when required.

Ms. Story’s commitment to assisting those who are embattled and embroiled in family and child custody disputes is a deeply personal one. As the product of a single-parent home, she understands all too keenly how family law issues impact the entire family unit and leave a lasting impact on all involved.  She skillfully utilizes her personal experience, legal acumen, and calm demeanor to achieve winning results with the least disruption.

Ms. Story has devoted her career to the highly individualized and personal area of family law. Her experience as a litigator includes drafting winning motions and fierce representation inside the courtroom at trials, plenary hearings, and appellate proceedings.

Ms. Story earned her Juris Doctorate at The George Washington University Law School in the nation’s capital.  Her academic pursuits included focusing on environmental law, civil rights, and representing the most vulnerable persons in our society. During law school, Ms. Story served as a clerk with a federal agency, interned in local government, and was the managing editor of one of her school’s journals with published work in the Pittsburgh Journal of Environmental and Public Health Law. Jasmine Story also proved herself to be an effective courtroom advocate in the Van Vleck Moot Court and Mock Trial and excelled in negotiations courses.

Jasmine Story is admitted to the New York State Bar and the New Jersey State Bar.  She is a distinguished recipient of many awards including being named one of the Top 10 Best Family Law Attorneys and one of the Top 10 Under 40 Attorneys by Attorney & Practice Magazine.
