Michael Anthony Spizzuco Jr.

I received Mr. Spizzuco's name from the bar referral service. I met with him on March 20, 2018 regarding a landlord tenant matter. He emailed me on March 22, 2018 advising me (1) that his assistant failed to make copies of the notices (2) if recollection serves, the notices were proper and if the te...nant fails to vacate on May 31st, he believes I have a basis to file for eviction (3) it will be expensive and his hourly rate and retainer deposit due to the amount of work and uf acceptable he will draft retainer agreement. On March 28th, I emailed him a list of questions and we set up a subsequent appointment to review and provide retainer deposit. Mr. Spizzuco made the decision that the he will not take the retainer deposit because the money would just sit in the account. When the tenant did not move out on May 31st I should contact him to move forward and pay deposit. He emails me on May 11th responding to additional question(s) and at this time he advises me, "As I have also mentioned, I need to speak to the partners here about any prospective matter I take on. Unfortunately, as my docket is currently full with other matters, I am unable to take your case and file the eviction on May 31, 2018. My recommendation would be to contact the Bar Referral Service to see if a different attorney can take this matter for you." Based on the foregoing, I believe an attorney should be very astute to determine whether or not you have a case and he wants to represent you.
