Jeremy M. Klausner

I specialize in general commercial and civil litigation, tax controversy, financial crimes, state and federal civil and criminal tax investigations. I have 20+ years’ litigation experience and have conducted trials in New York and New Jersey state courts, United States District  Court, United States Bankruptcy Court, and the United States Tax Court.   I regularly regularly represent clients in government investigations and disputes with the IRS, New Jersey Department of the Treasury (Division of Taxation), New York State Department of Taxation and Finance, and both state and federal departments of labor. I am an accomplished brief writer and handle appeals in both State and Federal courts.

I am a firm believer in alternative dispute resolution.  Litigation is expensive, time consuming, and emotionally taxing.  Mediation is an economical and efficient alternative for parties to resolve their disputes.  I am a trained mediator and a member of the roster of mediators for the New Jersey Superior Court.
