I hired the services of Hayward this year to obtain a Green Card as I was moving from France to the US. I am not an easy client. Last year I felt a vague notion of wanting to move to Paris, but beyond my vagaries, I had nothing solid, no documents, hardly an argument -- just a whimsical hope. My situation was slightly unusual, in that I was an Australian looking to obtain a carte de sejour to remain in Paris based on a UK Civil Partnership that I entered into less than 3 months ago, with m...y English Partner. Telling the French that their national law was overruled by EU law was something requiring the greatest sensitivity and tact, which Haywood demonstrated in abundance.
