Haywood Martin Wise

I approached Mr. Haywood Wise a few weeks before my student visa extension in France (APS) was about to expire. I had gotten a job but my employers were dragging their feet with the sponsorship process. With no time to waste I contacted Martin Wise and he got back to me on all the documents I needed ...to process the work visa. Everything literally came down to the last minute and when all the documents from my employers and me were in place I spent the better part of a day with another lawyer from the firm, at the prefecture in the 17e and then finally at the centres de réception des étrangers in the 18e...However when we reached there, there were no guichets available to do a "changement du statut" which is what I needed to do...So I had to return the next day (the day after my APS expired), and basically all they gave us was an application form with a list of documents which needed to be mailed to the prefecture of my arrondissement. It was all very complicated and exhausting, and even though I have dealt with French administration for getting my student carte de sejour and my APS done; this was way more complicated and I don't think I would have had the tolerance to face everything on my own. Martin, Karim and the other lawyers are all very helpful and should I ever need any immigration help in the future...I now know where to go..

He handled this very quickly and wi...th no problems whatsoever, and I was able to return to the US with the application package and a scheduled appointment at the French Consulate. The interview at the Consulate went smoothly - they were clearly impressed with the package and I was granted the Visa very quickly.

Mr Haywood and Shawn and all of his staff have been excelent. I called for his services on may 201. ,I am american living in France for many years and my husband is Colombian. It was a very risky thing to do, for he had to leave france , without not really knowing if the visa would be granted. I had to be separated from my husband for more than 6 months.. Until finally on april 4 he had his interview in the Bogota consulate. His visa was granted immediatelly. Many people have to wait a lot longer, but our case actually went real fast. I sincerely think it had a lot to do with Mr Haywood's intervention in the case. I would sincerely reccomend Haywood Wise. He and his staff are excelent professionals and human beings. I will always be thankfull for them because thanks to them i am reunited with my family again,my husband can have a chance to be legally in the US, without having to live in fear of deportation.
