I hired James based on the firms google reviews... come to realize they might be given Avvo verified reviews tell a the actually True story about his work quality and the way his firm operates. First impressions can really be misleading. My case was given to someone of less experience, but James was... CCed on all of the E-Mails. They were so non-responsive that my mortgage broker made numerous comments to me asking what is up with my lawyer? It got to the point where it became a joke during the process. They offered little to no advise during the process, which is something I desperately needed since it was my first rodeo. When we closed, James did not even stop by to say hi even though I was in his office. This would have been the polite thing to do as I am a client.

I hired James based on their confident promises and impressive talk. However, after I paid the retainer, James went completely silent for a week—no updates, no responses to my calls or emails. When I finally heard back, it felt like I was chasing them down just to get the basic service I had already ...paid for. To make matters worse, during the closing, he made multiple errors and missed critical details that could have jeopardized the entire deal. I had to step in and catch mistakes that he should have caught. His lack of attention and professionalism nearly cost me big time. If you need a reliable, detail-oriented real estate lawyer, look elsewhere.

His communication was abysmal—I constantly had to chase him for updates, and when he did respond, it was always last minute. He caused unnecessary delays in my closing, which added stress and uncertainty to the process. Then, after all the delays, he suddenly rushed me into signing a deal that was c...learly not in my best interest. I felt pressured and unsupported, as if he were more concerned with getting it over with than protecting me. I would not recommend James to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy real estate lawyer.

The receptionists are extremely unprofessional and unknowledgeable of anything going on, seems like they don't pay attention on the call. You will tell them one thing but when they call back, they will start talking about something different and random. Thank god I didn't move forward with this fir...m after the initial calls.
