I founded Dunn Law, LLC as a firm which is committed to serving its clients through a comprehensive legal strategy. Cases have many twists and turns and what seems like a good resolution in one aspect can have dramatic unintended consequences in a totally different area. As an Assistant Deputy Public Defender, I represented indigent individuals charged with a wide range of felony offenses. I manage a comprehensive docket of cases through every phase of litigation. In addition to conducting trials, I negotiated plea agreements, argued pre-trial motions and conducted testimonial preliminary hearings. Before joining the Public Defender's office, I served as a law clerk to the Assignment Judge. I had the unique opportunity to work in both the civil and criminal areas of practice, conducting legal research and preparing hundreds of bench memoranda on a wide variety of civil motions. Prior to law school, I served in the United States Army. While holding progressively responsible positions, I consistently researched and presented courses of action that were relied upon by my superiors. Whether leading troops in combat in Iraq or providing humanitarian aid in Louisiana, I had to work under extraordinary pressure and manage multiple projects on tight timelines. I aspire to bring all of these experiences and lessons learned together to provide the best service I possibly can for my clients.
