Robert P. Pentangelo

Robert has handled several legal matters for my family and clients including assault charges, terroristic threats, trespassing, and larceny. He is well known and respected by other attorneys and Judges in Bergen and Hudson Counties. This helped quite a bit in that he was able to get charges reduced... or thrown out. I definitely recommend him. He is kind, caring, and tenacious and he doesn't try to overcharge for his services.

Mr. Pentangelo represented me in a case where my car was totalled. Going up against an Insurance Company and an individual with Political ties, the out come was not what we wanted. No fault to Mr. Pentangelo, he was there to help guide me through he Court System and at least give me a voice to ...try to re-cope my damages. I was happy to hire Mr. Pentangelo who was sypathethic to my needs. A Lawyer with reasonable rates not looking to take advantage of my situation. He made me feel I was not just another case but family. Who doesn't want a Family Attorney looking out for your best interest?

Mr. Pentangelo represented me recently on a dwi case and to say I was extremely impressed is an understatement. While offering a great price compared to others, Mr. Pentangelo was a fantastic lawyer and one I'd recommend to anyone I know. He took great care of me and made me feel at ease and confiden...t throughout the process. After paying him 3,000 to have him represent and expunge my records at alpine courts in New Jersey, he simply disappeared after one hearing. I assumed everything was taken care of until I was arrested in New Jersey after a routine traffic stop. Turns out the case was still open and never taken care o...f. After a weekend in jail, I contacted him to discuss what had happened. He apologized, then notified he would return me half the amount as consolation in addition he would expunge my records. He calls me a few hours later and notifies me he would be expunging my records, as it would cost him too much to do so( mind you he already took $3000 of my money for one hearing). After turning nasty and telling me " do you want your money or not?" I agreed to his terms. He informed me it would take up to 30 days for the check to arrive. It has now been over three months with no check. I tried on numerous occasions to contact him to no avail. No return calls, nothing after leaving him numerous voice mails. If I had the time and resources, I would try and get my money back, but knowing the cost and time it would take, I felt this is the only way to get his name out there. What a useless person and even worse an attorney.
