He had almost 6 months to obtain video and he subpoena the last week of December when we had court in about a week . He fail to work in my case , do follow ups with the courts and present evidence as he promised. I always called him and he was always too busy to talk about my case.He promised me to... get the video. He did not put any effort into my case or into the cross examination was presented poorly . We lost the case to someone that wasn’t representative with NO Attorney and NO Law Degree .I lost due to him not providing evidence as promised when I hired him .DO NoT Hired him. He will make you look bad in court !! He will take your money and run.

I hired Mr. Pentangelo for a criminal matter. He seemed to have a grasp of the law and the courts. The problem with him for me is that he doesn't do anything he is supposed to do in preparation. I would Not recommend him and in fact, I think it is hard to do worse. I interviewed quite a few attorney...s and frankly there were not many that I was impressed with. Mr. Pentangelo came in with a lower price but "you get what you pay for" in this instance was so true. I think he thinks he can do the job without preparation and when he loses he blames it on anything but him, and when he wins, he thinks it's because of his brilliance. I won my case despite that he could have blown it six ways from Sunday as the expression goes. I think he is incapable of bothering to be a decent attorney. The negative comments on these pages have the common theme that I agree with--no prep, ignores deadlines, and doesn't do the job. Notice no one appears to think he can't do the job, rather that he doesn't bother. If you have a strong case, you might win with him as your lawyer if he doesn't do too much to blow it. If your case is weak, God help you because as I see it, his work ethic is so poor that anything can go wrong. I think he could do the job if he bothered but think he is incapable for whatever reason. If you hire him, follow him every step of the way and make sure he is up to date and prepared. He's arrogant and defensive and at times will not even truly answer when you contact him giving only vague responses. If you hire him, I recommend you do not let down your guard for a moment. Keep an email record of anything you ask him, and all of his replies and tip him off to the fact that your emails are a record. Try to find a lawyer that is more responsible. You have enough to worry about when facing a judge, watching your attorney shouldn't have to be a top priority.

Mr. Pentangelo has represented me since 2020 for a traffic stop that had several different issues. I was scared, embarrassed and most of all afraid of losing my license and my ability to provide for my family. I found Mr. Pentangelo’s information and we met and I hired him for his honestly, his rep...utation and his courage. Did he tell me what I wanted to hear? No, but he represented me restlessly before Covid, during Covid, got several charges dropped, found the right experts to speak on my behalf and found a solution for me. It was a long and difficult case but I am happy with the outcome. If you need a lawyer who is a pit bull and want the best defense, Mr. Pentangelo is your man.

I write this with sadness because he was not like this when I first met him., When I first met him and as time went on, I more than respected him. I really did. And, he won my case. As time went on I had given a large sum of money (COVID TIME) to get a Goverors pardon and he kept saying we should wai...t until election and someone who is more gun friendly. This made sense, so I agreed. As time went on,, the same Governor won. i decided to “make a move” rather than sit stagnant. I even suggested that we go for an expungement (even though it was premature). Well, I didn’t get my $7,500 back and he never did any work for me. He did agree to pay $500 weekly. I’m lucky if he’ll give $100…and that only if I pull teeth. He pai $2,300 to date and informed me that he only owed me $2,200… FOR WHAT?!? I even got the pardon application (early on, when we were going to go that route). I requested and paid several hundred dollars to get court transcripts. Is he charging $2,800 for putting the court transcript in the shelf. Every time I called and asked him if he looked at it, he hasn’t had the chance. Which, okay, this can happen. People get busy. But what am I paying $2,800 for? When I say I write this with sincere sadness, I mean that 100%. I liked Bob and I saw him like a friend. I never expected him to do this to me to this day. To this day, I have to call and practically beg him for $100. $100 of my money. I am hurt, sad, angry, all of the above. He claims he doesn’t have the money. That’s his business. I don’t know the background or the story or what not, so I’m not going to pretend to know . I can speculate, but the truth is, I don’t know. But that doesn’t change the fact that he owes me $5000. He won a case for me in my hometown and he charged me an extremely reasonable rate. He probably under charged me. I get that. So is this my punishment for being under charged for him representing me in the DWI case. Which, the DWI was because I was tired, driving while impaired, if you’re tired they consider that impaired. And he won the case. But I shouldn’t have to pay now for the fact that he charged such minimal amount. I really don’t know what to do and how to get my money back, if I can go to small claims court, will they take it. Any advice. Don’t say talk to him. Because he’s made it clear in a very arrogant way, that I am not getting my money. Please, I need help and advice
