I've worked with Bob Pantenglo years ago, I even referred colleagues to him. 3 week ago I reached out to him regarding a letter, instantly he told me to send $250, he told me the letter will be done in 3days...it's been 3weeks. Bob asked to be involved sexually, he asked about single friends, to this... day all I've gotten are excuses and no letter..I'm very disappointed and very frustrated.

I write this with sadness because he was not like this when I first met him., When I first met him and as time went on, I more than respected him. I really did. And, he won my case. As time went on I had given a large sum of money (COVID TIME) to get a Goverors pardon and he kept saying we should wai...t until election and someone who is more gun friendly. This made sense, so I agreed. As time went on,, the same Governor won. i decided to “make a move” rather than sit stagnant. I even suggested that we go for an expungement (even though it was premature). Well, I didn’t get my $7,500 back and he never did any work for me. He did agree to pay $500 weekly. I’m lucky if he’ll give $100…and that only if I pull teeth. He pai $2,300 to date and informed me that he only owed me $2,200… FOR WHAT?!? I even got the pardon application (early on, when we were going to go that route). I requested and paid several hundred dollars to get court transcripts. Is he charging $2,800 for putting the court transcript in the shelf. Every time I called and asked him if he looked at it, he hasn’t had the chance. Which, okay, this can happen. People get busy. But what am I paying $2,800 for? When I say I write this with sincere sadness, I mean that 100%. I liked Bob and I saw him like a friend. I never expected him to do this to me to this day. To this day, I have to call and practically beg him for $100. $100 of my money. I am hurt, sad, angry, all of the above. He claims he doesn’t have the money. That’s his business. I don’t know the background or the story or what not, so I’m not going to pretend to know . I can speculate, but the truth is, I don’t know. But that doesn’t change the fact that he owes me $5000. He won a case for me in my hometown and he charged me an extremely reasonable rate. He probably under charged me. I get that. So is this my punishment for being under charged for him representing me in the DWI case. Which, the DWI was because I was tired, driving while impaired, if you’re tired they consider that impaired. And he won the case. But I shouldn’t have to pay now for the fact that he charged such minimal amount. I really don’t know what to do and how to get my money back, if I can go to small claims court, will they take it. Any advice. Don’t say talk to him. Because he’s made it clear in a very arrogant way, that I am not getting my money. Please, I need help and advice

The most rude unprofessional attorney !!! STEALS YOUR MONEY AND RUNS !!!! STAY FAR AWAY !!! After having given him $700 to retain services weeks and months passed with no updates answers or anything to show for the $700 given. Avoids your calls and tells you he will call back but never once did . ...When I finally got him on the phone , He demanded $500 more dollars , and said “pay me or find another attorney “ and hung up the phone! After paying him 3,000 to have him represent and expunge my records at alpine courts in New Jersey, he simply disappeared after one hearing. I assumed everything was taken care of until I was arrested in New Jersey after a routine traffic stop. Turns out the case was still open and never taken care o...f. After a weekend in jail, I contacted him to discuss what had happened. He apologized, then notified he would return me half the amount as consolation in addition he would expunge my records. He calls me a few hours later and notifies me he would be expunging my records, as it would cost him too much to do so( mind you he already took $3000 of my money for one hearing). After turning nasty and telling me " do you want your money or not?" I agreed to his terms. He informed me it would take up to 30 days for the check to arrive. It has now been over three months with no check. I tried on numerous occasions to contact him to no avail. No return calls, nothing after leaving him numerous voice mails. If I had the time and resources, I would try and get my money back, but knowing the cost and time it would take, I felt this is the only way to get his name out there. What a useless person and even worse an attorney.
