I hired Mr. Hammerman to represent me for a relatively serious municipal court traffic violation. I started off with 4 different summons amounting to a total of 7 points on my license, one of which was a reckless driving summons. When I first spoke with Mr. Hammerman on the phone and explained the si...tuation and that the most important thing for me was to get rid of the reckless ticket, he was friendly and assured me that he would do everything he can to get rid of the reckless and that he would see what he could do about the other violations as well. After all was said and done, I ended up only getting 2 points on my license and paying a fraction of what I was initially supposed to pay because he was able to get another ticket dismissed. He showed up on time and introduced himself, went over my case and had everything handled quickly. Overall a great experience, would definitely recommend him to anyone seeking legal representation and if I do need an attorney again, he will be the first person I turn to.

I was convicted in first degree drug crime with distributing marijuana around school zone & public housing which can put me away for years!!! Marvin is an excellent lawyer because this wasn't my first time conviction. I was scared that my life was over but he turned the tables around for me & made it... possible to still have my freedom! I was recently arrested for possession of marijuana in essex county. This was my first time being arrested and charged with a crime so ultimately I was more worried about having a criminal record than anything else. I had used Mr. Hammermans services in recent months for a traffic case involving a fe...w serious citations and I was extremely pleased with the results (low fines and no points) so I figured i'd give him a call and see what we could do about the criminal matter. Unlike other lawyers i've dealt with in the past, Mr. Hammerman was accessible and very personable throughout the entire process. He made me feel very comfortable and confident about the matter and assured me he would do all he could in order to make sure my record stayed clean, which was my main concern. In total, I made three different court appearances related to the case. Marvin arrived at each appearance early, he remained professional and friendly all while keeping me informed about everything that was going on from my initial appearance to the very end of the case when I decided to accept an amazing deal he worked out with the prosecutor. I wound up paying minimal fines (under $500) and my charge of possession was downgraded to a town ordinance which is not considered a criminal charge and will not show up on my permanent record!
