also known as Rubin Employment Law
Alix R. Rubin, Esq. founded Rubin Employment Law in 2010 to eradicate discrimination and harassment in the workplace. Alix's goal is to get employers and employees to stop fighting so everyone can get back to business.
Alix graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. degree in English and French from Tufts University. She earned a Master of Journalism degree from Temple University and worked as a public relations practitioner and journalist before earning a J.D. degree from the University of Pennsylvania Law School. Alix is admitted to the bar in New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania.
Alix began her career in private practice as a general litigator. She soon incorporated employment law into her practice and has focused on it almost exclusively in recent years. She was a litigation associate at two major New Jersey firms for eight years and a partner at the New Jersey office of a small New York firm for five years.
In addition to running her own law firm, Alix is of counsel to Clark Guldin in Montclair, NJ, and to the Paul Ellis Law Group in New York City. She serves as a New Jersey court-appointed mediator, is a former member of a New Jersey District Ethics Committee, served as a Trustee of Volunteer Lawyers for Justice for 18 years, and is currently a Director of the Wharton Alumni Club of New Jersey.
