Superb lawyer, great listener, diligent worker

Mr. McCabe possessed immense integrity and a great and well rounded understanding of the law which made him capable of providing reasonable and responsible legal advice. He was/is a great listener with an innate ability to evaluate and comprehend issues from various angles which helped us reach an ac...ceptable settlement. His diligence, hard work and organizational skills were highly appreciated.

A Waste of Time

I contacted, consulted with and hired Patrick Mccabe after a dispute with a Greenwich Matchmaker who took over 30 thousand dollars from me and refused to return any portion of it after I showed her that her clients were not really who she said they were. Patrick was diligent at first promising to wri...te letters to the owner and threatened litigation, but as soon as he got a response from the Matchmaker's lawyer he backed off and did nothing. He warned me I could be sued for posting my factual comments about what I'd found. (Well...duh. isn't that why I called a lawyer?) Patrick was really concerned about protecting himself so I've found a more aggressive attorney. I would never hire this person again.

I thought I did everything I had agreed to do, and we had good communication along the way, so this was quite a shock to me. If there was something else you felt I should do I wish you would tell me? I've been practicing for over 20 years and this is my first bad review - I'm here if you'd like to discuss or figure out how to make you a satisfied client. I am again sorry you were not satisfied.
