About Caitlin
Biography
Attorney Caitlin E. Murphy is a member in good standing of both the Connecticut and New York State Bars and is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut. Caitlin joined the Law Offices of Mark Sheman as a Law Clerk in January 2019 and later as an attorney in December 2020. She has assisted in all areas of the firm’s legal practice, appearing before Connecticut’s state courts. Currently, Caitlin heads the Firm's Restraining Order and DMV Per Se Practices. She is a Co-Chair for the Women's Law Committee of the Fairfield County Bar Association.
In 2017, Caitlin received her Bachelors of Arts degree in Legal Studies from Quinnipiac University, summa cum laude. She then went on to earn her Juris Doctorate, magna cum laude, in 2020 from the Quinnipiac University School of Law with Honors concentrations in Civil Advocacy and Dispute Resolution and Criminal Law and Advocacy. While in law school, Caitlin was involved in the Quinnipiac Law Review as an editor and with the school's national trial advocacy team where she served as President and won several awards both regionally and nationally.
