Mr. Cavallo is the second matrimonial attorney I have engaged. My divorce was complicated and included my ex- wife's desire to move to California and take our children with her. My first counsel allowed me to fight a losing case until I had depleted my funds and had to settle - losing each point of t...he case. I wish counsel would have advised me to cut my losses and settle from the beginning. My child support payments were set at a level at which I could not succeed in paying all of the money. I just didn't earn enough. My ex- wife sued me from California in the Bridgeport Superior Court - accusing me of being a year behind in payments. I answered the suit pro se. I was never late or behind again and successfully supported my children until they reached adulthood. The process took about a year in total. Attorney Cavallo and his staff kept me completely informed every step of the way and led me to a successful resolution of my case. A side benefit of his work on my behalf was that my children's mother and I were able to develop a cordial relationship once these issues were settled. My children directly benefited from this. In fact, after my last payment was made, my ex- wife thanked me for never being late with child support!
