In addition to working with individiual clients as an attorney to help them resolve a family matter, I am also a mediator. In mediation, parties make their own agreement with the guidance of a trained professional. The mediation process helps people resolve family disputes in a more congenial way than the traditional adversarial process of litigation -- thereby helping to reduce the overall stress on, and expense to, the family.
