Made me change my opinion of lawyers as a profession
Attorney Fay has been helping me navigate the family court system for over 6 years now. I have stayed with Attorney Fay for this long because she is honest, ethical and direct. My custody dispute has been very challenging but Attorney Fay has never missed a court hearing/appearance/status conference, etc and there have been many in 6 years. Her command of the details of my case is truly impressive. She is also honest about what she is capable of helping with and what to expect at court. I have never felt mislead or disappointed by her guidance. And I appreciate how fair she is with her billing; it has allowed me to continue to fight for my child's best interest without going bankrupt in the process. I cannot say enough about what a true professional Attorney Fay is. If you are in need of an attorney who will be committed to your case not matter how difficult or challenging the other party is, I highly recommend Attorney Fay.

Top notch conservator!!!
I have known Candace only a few years since a lady moved into my rest home she was conserving. Since then, I have asked her to conserve for 4 other clients. She is professional and truly cares for the people she stands up for. I notice the only negative reviews were posted by anonymous. I don't put much faith in anyone who won't put their name out there! Meet Candace for yourself and you won't be disappointed. I've never been!

Driveway Contractor
I don't seem to find enough words to thank Attorney Fay for representing me in a case against a contractor who did a very low quality job when replacing my driveway. Her high degree of professional ethics and expertise in these matters were crucial in bringing my case to a successful ending. I would certainly ask her again to be my legal council if needed in the future. Thanks for your time and effort Ms Fay.

I am now divorced. Never painless but absolutely done the right way with no regrets. I can not thank Attorney Fay enough for her professionalism and looking out for me and the longterm ramifications for my children. I look toward a future that is brighter due to her guidance.

Welcome addition to the Danbury bar
Candace handled a contract matter and worked with my accountant. I am very pleased with her knowledge, personality and her way around in the system.

Extremely Appreciative
Candace is excellent! She is very ethical, intelligent and knowledgeable. Fantastic at explaining matters. She works for the client and not the fee. She promptly returns all calls and was most through in her assistance to me. I cannot recommend her highly enough. What a professional!

Helped in an Immigration Situation - Her honesty carried the day
Immigration to the United States is a complex and time consuming process even under the best of circumstances. If not done properly, it can add tremendous delays to the procedure. Depending on the applicant’s circumstances, the process can even grind to a halt from time-to-time. That was the situation my company found itself in with a recent potential hire. We needed an excellent legal mind to help with the process. With Attorney Candace Veronica Fay, we knew immediately that not only was she a gifted professional, but that we could fully trust her to tell us the truth about our situation. She was honest about the challenges we faced from the very start. She struck us with her intelligence, professionalism, compassion, her work ethic and her drive to do everything in her power to help us. Attorney Fay was very attentive and took meticulous detailed care in the issues and the laws surrounding the issues. As you know, there are no guarantees in life. Candace will do her best to win your case, and -- what she can guarantee -- is the fact that she will always tell you the truth. Our sincere thanks go out to Attorney Candace Veronica Fay for job well done. We can definitively say that we would recommend her to anyone seeking legal advice on any topic.

Criminal Case
Attorney Fay was extremely judgmental of my situation. Constant eye rolling and talking down to me. I have since worked with different attorneys and they have treated me with far more respect. My criminal matter was not handle professionally or discretely. The matter is still pending. She resigned as my attorney and would not even talk to me about it. I got a certified letter in the mail.

Response from Candace Fay March 20, 2018
It is also incredibly difficult for any lawyer to withdraw from a pending criminal case. Thus, if the Court granted such withdraw, there was good cause shown. Sometimes, the inability or unwillingness to be truthful with counsel clouds one's judgment.

Terrible Experience
Used Attorney Fay to represent me in a small claims case. For that she was great. Now she is suing me in small claims court for fees that I never owed to her. All fees were paid up front to her on every court date or dropped at her office in Bethel personally. She never performed any work which was not paid for. She must not be so successful if she has to sue past clients for money they don't owe. See you in court soon Candace.

Response from Candace Fay March 20, 2018
I do not regularly sue client's for unpaid fees. However, in order to effectively and zealously advocate for my clients, I must also advocate for myself. I have pursued a limited number of clients in court for unpaid fees and have been successful in obtaining a judgment against all persons. This is not a measure of one's success, but rather collection of a debt that is due and owing. Attorneys deserved to get paid for their work just like you.
