Candace Veronica Fay

Candace Fay formed Candace V. Fay - Attorney & Counselor at Law, PC, in 2012.  Candace's mission is to practice "real law for real people."  Her practice areas include: civil litigation, criminal law; real estate transactions, family law; personal injury law, and administrative proceedings.

Before starting her own law firm, Candace practiced with Levett Rockwood's litigation group in Westport, CT.  Prior to joining Levett Rockwood, Candace had the prestigious honor to serve as a law clerk to esteemed Honorable Holly B. Fitzsimmons of the United States District Court of Connecticut.   

Prior to attending law school, Candace worked for four years in strategic marketing communications and consumer analysis.  This prior business experience gives her an insight into the practical concerns of commercial clients. 

Candace received her bachelor of arts degree from the University of Connecticut in 2001. She received her law degree from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 2007, where she was the Executive Editor of the Public Interest Law Journal.

She is a member of the American Bar Association, Connecticut Bar Association, Fairfield County Bar Association, Danbury Bar Association, Federal Court's Public Outreach Committee, Connecticut Inns of Court and Femfessionals.  She is admitted to practice in Connecticut, New York, United States District Court of Connecticut, the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and the United States Supreme Court. 

Candace serves on the Board of the Western Connecticut YMCA, the FRIENDS of the Danbury Library, and the Danbury Zoning Commission.
