About seven years ago I made a stupid mistake and was arrested for possession of a minimal amount of marijuana. Every job application I have had since then has asked, “Have you ever been convicted of a crime?” Unfortunately, I always had to check the “Yes” box and disclose my conviction. Understandab...ly, many of my job applications were immediately thrown out. For the last seven years I carried that burden, until recently when I met with Naugatuck attorney Tim Fitzpatrick.
