The State and Federal Government have made it almost impossible for the average person to understand and deal with the laws and regulations pertaining to Elder Care. I could not have, with confidence, done it alone.

I hired Attorney Allaire for assistance during a very trying time for my family. Attorney Allaire expertly assisted with elder care issues, asset protection, and estate planning. He came highly recommended, and he lives up to his reputation -- I give him and his team my highest recommendation. My mother and I went to Attorney Allaire's office to meet with him because of my father needing a nursing home. He and his team did an excellent job signing him up for Medicaid, which he needed. The application for Medicaid went through very fast. I was surprised by how quickly they were able to get ...it processed. I attribute the speed to his team knowing exactly what we needed. It was a lot of work on our end as well, finding papers, making copies, etc. In the end, it was all worth it and my father is now covered. One thing, that I took a star off my rating for was that my father was originally in one home, they kicked him out and Attorney Allaire didn't really help with fighting to keep him there until we were satisfied with another facility. Finding another facility was a real hard choice for us. We had opportunities to move him, but those were very early when this particular home was trying to kick him out. They eventually made it official filing to dismiss him and an opening at a place we never visited opened up and Mr. Allaire just strongly advised that we take the opening, sight unseen. Given the nature of the situation of my father needing a home, it was extremely hard for us. The original nursing home that kicked him out was trying to do so when he was a short-term occupant. They (the administration at the home) were very aggressive and I don't feel like we really had anyone on our side when push came to shove. I'm not discounting all the offers that Attorney Allaire's team gave to us in building up to the final "choice." They were very helpful, we just weren't ready to move him. Anyway, I'd recommend Attorney Allaire. His team was great and despite the one negative, I was impressed by the turnaround of the Medicaid application. It, thankfully, is covering my father's nursing home costs.

Stephen Allaire, whom we hired to help us file for Title 19 for our Mom. Was very Knowledgeable in helping guide us through the process. Amanda was very good at keeping us informed of how things were going. She was always there to answer any questions and was always on top of what needed to be done. ...It was a good experience.
