Elder Care

My husband and I went to Allaire elder law when my father in law fell sick and needed to be placed in a nursing home. We were guided step by step through everything we needed to take care of. Medicaid, selling the house, and nursing home. Any questions we had was looked into and addressed. Allaire E...lder law will help you from beginning to end. They are awesome.

My review

Mr Allaire and his staff were very professional and compassionate with my situation. I needed help with my wife and going forward in the total 19 process. His staff is amazing. They were professional first and foremost but they were also right there when I had a concern and guided me and assured me a...nd went above and beyond in there genuine compassion. It’s a very confusing and stressful process especially with all the emotions and stress of your loved one failing. I call them mr Allaire’s A team and my Charlie’s angels. I talk about them and recommend them for elder law to everyone .

Title 19 Application Assistance

Our family cannot express enough gratitude for the excellent legal services provided by both Attorney Stephen Allaire and Attorney Halley Allaire during a very stressful and difficult process to get my mother onto Title 19. The attorneys and staff are professional, extremely knowledgeable, and work ...to the highest standard. They fully explained the process, and promptly answered the numerous questions we asked during our many phone calls, emails and meetings. They kept in touch with us on a regular basis with updates. Attorney Stephen Allaire, Attorney Halley Allaire and their entire staff always treated our family with the utmost courtesy, respect and patience, with a full understanding of what our family was dealing with during the process. Without hesitation, we highly recommend the firm!!

Professionals!

When it was clear my mother couldn't continue to pay for a live-in aide without soon running out of money, I tried on my own to find out how she might qualify for the CT Home Care Program for Elders. It was quickly obvious that I needed elder law professionals to help me understand the process and ...to usher the application through. I'm convinced that without the help of the paralegal, elder services coordinator, and Medicaid coordinator assigned to us, it could never have been done. Working with them couldn't have been easier--they were completely and quickly responsive, always knew the answers to my questions, and provided constant reassurance along the way. Now that the cost of mom's aide has been taken over by Medicaid, mom can continue to live in her apartment for at least a year longer than she would have--and at her advanced age, that might mean being able to live out her life at home. This legal service was worth every penny, and I recommend the firm to anyone who might have similar needs.

Medicaid application

Attorney Allaire and his staff were extremely helpful with a recent medicaid application and preparing other legal documents for elderly parents. Response to calls and emails were returned in a very timely manner. Jessica, our Medicaid Paralegal, provided great guidance as we moved through the comp...lex process of documentation required to secure a successful outcome. She is very thorough, which minimized the time it took for the case to be reviewed/approved by the State. There are many possibilities depending on each person's circumstances and Jessica took time to explain what option was being used and why. Charlotte, our Elder Care Coordinator has provided suggestions and support to secure the best services possible to enable my parents to remain in their home with the proper level of care. She is extremely knowledgeable and helped us focus on the right things at the appropriate time. I highly recommend Allaire Elder Law for such services.
