Help with obtaining Title XIX

Helped to go through my mother's financial records and prepare application for Title XIX. Wonderful staff helping with an arduous process. A strong office to work with!

Excellent Elder Law Firm!

Attorney Allaire's law firm helped me file my mother's Medicaid Title 19 application. I was assigned to a Medicaid Paralegal and she was fantastic. The office is very responsive and cares about the struggles the family is going through. Attorney Allaire has a great team. This is the second time I hav...e used their services and will again if needed.

Estate Planning

I hired Attorney Allaire for assistance during a very trying time for my family. Attorney Allaire expertly assisted with elder care issues, asset protection, and estate planning. He came highly recommended, and he lives up to his reputation -- I give him and his team my highest recommendation. We wer...e working against some very tight deadlines, and Attorney Allaire and his team were incredibly personable, responsive, and competent. He has assembled a powerhouse group that can expertly navigate the confusing terrain of elder care law and planning. He's a man of integrity, which is incredibly refreshing.

Overall Excellent and Fast Turnaround

My mother and I went to Attorney Allaire's office to meet with him because of my father needing a nursing home. He and his team did an excellent job signing him up for Medicaid, which he needed. The application for Medicaid went through very fast. I was surprised by how quickly they were able to get ...it processed. I attribute the speed to his team knowing exactly what we needed. It was a lot of work on our end as well, finding papers, making copies, etc. In the end, it was all worth it and my father is now covered. One thing, that I took a star off my rating for was that my father was originally in one home, they kicked him out and Attorney Allaire didn't really help with fighting to keep him there until we were satisfied with another facility. Finding another facility was a real hard choice for us. We had opportunities to move him, but those were very early when this particular home was trying to kick him out. They eventually made it official filing to dismiss him and an opening at a place we never visited opened up and Mr. Allaire just strongly advised that we take the opening, sight unseen. Given the nature of the situation of my father needing a home, it was extremely hard for us. The original nursing home that kicked him out was trying to do so when he was a short-term occupant. They (the administration at the home) were very aggressive and I don't feel like we really had anyone on our side when push came to shove. I'm not discounting all the offers that Attorney Allaire's team gave to us in building up to the final "choice." They were very helpful, we just weren't ready to move him. Anyway, I'd recommend Attorney Allaire. His team was great and despite the one negative, I was impressed by the turnaround of the Medicaid application. It, thankfully, is covering my father's nursing home costs.

Very helpful. Always there to answer questions. Above my expectations.

My sisters and I were very concerned for our mother's health as she grew older and more frail. We scheduled an appointment and met with Attorney Stephen Allaire of Allaire Elder Law. There was no pressure for us to hire him as he explained what he could do for us. We gave it some thought and agreed... to a "life care plan" for our mother. He explained to us what help we were to expect as mom's condition changed. We were assigned a care coordinator to help us. we had Charlotte Audet who guided us though the stages of care we could expect mom to need. Shortly after, mom developed pneumonia and was hospitalized. From there she went to rehab in a local nursing home. Daniella was assigned to guide us through all the details of our decision to have mom return home with a 24 hour care giver. She met with us at the rehab during the discharge planning meetings. Her expert advice helped us get though some difficult decisions. She helped us set up a Pooled Trust so mom could live out her life in the comfort and safety of her own home. The help we received was phenomenal. We were never told what to do. We were guided along as we made decisions. Information as to what to look for in an agency and what we could expect. We selected an agency and we were satisfied with the recommendation. Shortly after, mom came home with a 24 hour live in care giver. Since mom's money was running out fast, Jessica Sevigny was our liaison to help us navigate the process of getting mom accepted on the Medicaid program. It was a long process and many, many emails and trips were made to deliver the necessary documents. I could NEVER have done it without expert help. Mom is now at home with the help she needs thanks to the help we received from Allaire Elder Law. We highly recommend Allaire Elder Law to anyone looking for expert, care and knowledge in helping give a loved one the dignity of the life they deserve.
