Peace of mind...

Mr. Allaire and his wonderful staff helped our family during a time of great need and a situation with which we had little knowledge. My Dad was diagnosed with a degenerative disease and was moving to Connecticut from New York to live closer to me. We needed help in finding appropriate care, changin...g the type of appropriate care as his health declines, going through the arduous task of completing a Medicaid application and preserving as much of his estate as we can. Mr. Allaire provided us with thoughtful solutions and educated us as well. The fee we paid was well worth it. Mr. Allaire saved us his fee many times over. Mr. Allaire's staff provides a service like none other. Phone calls and emails were returned immediately. Each member of the staff has been respectful, knowledgeable and professional. They become part of the family. I cannot imagine what we would have done without the advice of Mr. Allaire and his staff.

Could not have done it without him.

We needed to put my mother on Title 19. We had a lot of questions and Attorney Allaire provided thorough, concise answers. When it came to getting all of the paperwork done, he and his extrememly knowledgable staff made the entire process easy and efficient. They know exactly what to do and when t...o do it. Had it not been for attorney Allaire we would have more than likely lost most of the equity in our home. My entire family is ectremely gratefule for Attorney Allaire's assistance, we will definietly be using him for any of our additional elder care law needs.

Elder Care Life Saver!

I've know Steve for many years and my husband and I have used him to prepare our wills and power of attorney. When my Mother started to fail in the apartment she was living in, and I knew it was time to move her to a place that provide more, I turned to Steve and his team for help. I work full time... and the thought of trying to figure out what was best for Mom's care and how to pay for it was daunting. Steve and his team assessed her physical and financial situation and we ended up filing for Title 19. Mom was approved 2 weeks ago and now has a home health aid and a Visiting Nurse. I could not image having to go through the process without the help of Steve and his team!

Hired to provide input and guidance for elderly father-in-law regarding estate planning and medicaid assistance

As a primary caregiver to my father-in-law, I was increasingly concerned that my family would be put in dire straights by the immense financial burden associated with both health care and nursing home expenses. Fortunately, I was alerted to the services that Attorney Allaire provided through a weekly... column that he wrote in our local newspaper. We scheduled an initial consultation appointment with the Attorney to discuss the background of our dilemma. He listened intently and immediately put us at ease by offering a detailed game plan to assist our family in preserving key assets which would insure an adequate and comfortable lifestyle for my father-in-law. Attorney Allaire and his remarkable staff would not disappoint. After hiring the Attorney to represent us, his team of professionals immediately went to work in a tireless fashion helping us navigate the complexity of both state and federal regulations. Actually, the Attorney and his staff performed all of the heavy lifting, oftentimes simply asking for our signature on certain documents from time to time. Member's of his staff kept us updated at every turn and left us feeling confident and informed throughout the entire process. During important mandatory meetings with administrators at a nursing home/rehab facility, the Attorney assured that a staff member from his office was always in attendance representing our family's best interest. The end result is that Attorney Allaire and his team gave my father-in-law (and our family) a financial peace as he guided us through a relatively seamless process in procuring Medicaid and a comfortable existence in a senior living community. There is no way we could have navigated this entire process alone. His one year Lifecare program proved invaluable to our family and I would wholehearted recommend him to anyone in a similar situation without hesitation.

Elder care and estate planning to save assets

We are especially grateful to have found Attorney Stephen Allaire and his knowledgeable and experienced paralegals to sort though the 2 + feet of paperwork for Medicaid and to save many assets from being lost. At 85 my father, a brilliant engineer was reduced to a man that could hardly speak, walk o...r eat without inhaleing the food caused by dementia and altimers. In his younger years he sold insurance and bought many policy's to povide for his family as dementia runs in the family. Dad also bought elder care insurance for both himself and his wife. He thought he we were all set but State of Connecticut rules have changed rendering most policy's useless to be cashed in for face value only. The elder care policy was never updated to the Connecticut's Partnership policy needed today so his policy only covered half the nursing homes cost. Dads poor and out of date preplaning could have been prevented by consulting with Attorney Stephen Allaire who is constantly training and up to date with ever changing state and federal laws. We again used Attorney Stephen Allaire to help me sell my house and buy moms house when she fell ill and needed constant care.
