About Ezra

Learn Ezra’s areas of practice.

I am the newest addition to Willey Law Offices, joining the firm after graduating from Roger Williams University, School of Law (located in Bristol, Rhode Island) in 2012. I went back to law school after having a prior career as a professional glassblower and glassblowing equipment manufacturer, as well as a glassblowing instructor on a number of levels.

Having resided in Brooklyn, N.Y. for a number of years, where I worked at UrbanGlass, my wife and I moved to New Orleans, LA to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. After Hurricane Katrina uprooted us from our new life in New Orleans, LA (moving there two and a half months prior to Katrina's destructive effect on the city), we then began the long journey of pursuing new careers; I then decided on a career in legal advocacy.

I am licensed to practice law in Maine, Massachusetts and the United States Virgin Islands, as well as in the U.S. District Court, for the District of Maine and the U.S. First Circuit Court of Appeals. I am also an accredited Veteran’s Advocate/Attorney. I focus my practice in all areas of litigation, as well as share in my father’s passion for zealous advocacy of our firm's clients.

In my spare time I enjoy gardening, CrossFit, and spending time with my wife and children, enjoying activities such as hiking, biking, swimming and travelling abroad. I have a deep interest in learning about and visiting new places and cultures. I have lived in Cairo, Egypt as well as Cortona, Italy. I have also spent time travelling throughout Europe, Central America, South East Asia as well as Eastern Europe. I firmly believe that having a sensitivity and understanding of other people's ways of life has allowed me to become a better person and a better attorney and has aided in my ability to fully and zealously represent my clients.

Great Lawyer
Ezra is a very knowledgeable and trustworthy lawyer. I believe that he does everything in his power to help his clients and keep them informed of everything that he wants to accomplish in the case that he is working on for his clients. I was very impressed with him and would gladly recommend him to anyone that is in need of any type of legal advice.

A True Advocate
Within minutes of sitting and talking with Ezra, it was obvious we weren’t meeting with an attorney who was just looking for a paycheck. We were instantly comfortable with him and could talk about anything. He listened, and more importantly, he genuinely wanted to help us. He assisted in navigating us through a very intimidating and rather scary process and made every effort to explain every step. He got to know our situation and he fought for us. He was a true advocate for our family. We got the best possible outcome in our case and we would never had gotten there without him. We truly appreciate all he did for us and highly recommend him to anyone looking for an attorney.

Highly recommend
Attorney Ezra Willey and his staff are very professional and helpful. Durring my long and complicated court case Attorney Willey went to great lengths for my case to be heard. He truly went above and beyond. He explained every step and what to expect before hand. He is very honest and compassionate about what he does. I am grateful to have him on my side and would highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for a great attorney!

Educated, compassionate, energetic
I can not say enough about Ezra! He is one of the best lawyers I have ever met. If you want to win a case he is who you want to hire. He will fight and do all he can do. I hired him and when things seemed grim we came out on top and won 2 cases back to back. Big deal! He is a fireball in court! He knows his stuff and is very educated! Not only I. Civil, but all aspects of the law! Something he said to me when I first walked threw the doors of Willey law was that I would be treated like family and I have been. I dont think I would ever hire another lawyer ever! It will always be Willey law that I chose to have my back. They exceeded my expectations.. no one wants to go to court, but if you do they are who you want on your side!

Tenacious litigation at its finest
Attorney Willey was just who we needed to meet the needs of our complex and heart wrenching case. From the minute he took over our file, he tirelessly advocated for us. He never backed down from all our opposing sides. He was always there, a phone call or an email away, we never felt alone. Attorney Willey went above and beyond to professionally campaign for our family and our rights.
