Living in Tennessee and going through visitation issues to be able to see my son I had to find a lawyer in Maine. My wife and I searched the internet and came across Mrs. Robidas and everything her Web page said was true and then some. As soon as I messaged her on her page it was less than 24 hours... before she got back to me, which was a relief because I was having an issue finding a lawyer that would assist me because I live in Tennessee and she was more than willing to do so. For a case that I thought was going to be straight forward, just wanting to get a set visitation schedule, it was anything but straightforward and quite frustrating at times. From the get go during the entire process she had to be flexable, profrossional and relaxed towards my ex and her lawyer. Our first interaction with them was mediation which proved to be completely useless, because my ex and her lawyer refused to negotiate anything. It was at this first mediation that that I knew I made the right decision to go with Amy. She was calm, cool and collected even though the people across the table were raising their voices, she persevered and was instantly able to get me 2 weeks longer with my son then ever before. During the second mediation it was more of the same, the other group wouldn't agree or negotiate anything, but again she was able to get me more of what I was asking for, her presence in the mediation room and later the actual court room was impressive. All in all when it was all said and done, she was the perfect choice because as I said during the course of the entire court process it was frustrating, but she never showed anything other than professionalism towards me. When it was all said and done, Mrs. Robidas prepared 4-5 different propasals that were well written and very clear, but to no avail they were all refused. When it came to the actual trial she was able to get me everything that I wanted and was excellent in the room when dealing with uncooperative people as I said she was impressive and has a commanding presence. I would like to add that from the start she was always very honest and upfront with me, even going as far as saying that I might not get all that I want. As I said she was very professional and was more than willing to explain and answer any question I had, or calm me down when I saw or thought things weren't going my way, she would talk to me as a person and not as a client (personal). Thank you for all you did!

My husband and I needed a lawyer to help us file an emergency motion to prevent my step daughter from being moved away by her Mom. Within 2 weeks of hiring Amy we were in court and our emergency injunction was granted and we were able to keep our daughter with us. Amy did an AMAZING job working with ...us through the next several months as the case then turned into a custody /child support case. She was always available for questions via email or phone or would get back to us within a very short period of time. Amy was extremely supportive and understanding and she made us feel like our daughters needs were just as important to her as they were to us. We couldn't possibly give Amy any higher recommendation and will most certainly use her for any future legal needs.
