I live in Tennessee and needed an attorney in Kittery, Maine in a criminal misdemeanor case that involved two different charges. My brother is a longstanding attorney and I have dealt with other attorneys in matters noncriminal so I have some experience with attorneys. I can unreservedly say that Mat...t is one of the, if not the most honest, responsive, knowledgeable, and accessible attorneys I've ever dealt with. He immediately recognized that the charges were frivolous and he approached the case from that standpoint, even though I was technically guilty of the charges. He left me feeling from our first conversation to the very favorable resolution he obtained for me that I was the only client he had. He did everything he said he would do when he said it would be done, keeping me informed every step of the way. Our communication was conducted entirely via the telephone and email. In the resolution of the case, he had one charge dismissed outright, and the other charge was diverted for six months at which time it will also be dismissed.
