A week before an uncontested hearing without lawyers, my ex decides to obtain a lawyer and it becomes contested. In that week I consulted several firms and found Amy. Her calm, knowledgeable, and factual demeanor was why I chose her. I was feeling scrambled, didn't know enough and her understanding o...f the process along with listening to my issues, she efficiently helped resolve a frustrating endeavor. I went from almost being a part time dad and having to pay an absurd amount of support, to obtaining 50/50 split without even going to trial. Amy was not pushed around, she was patient with the me, and made sure I obtained the details I wanted within the settlement. She's efficient, experienced, and great communicator, couldn't be more pleased! My kids future and I thank you so much!

Amy helped me through a parental rights decision making case. She helped walk me through all of my options, and ultimately found the right options with my son's best interest in mind. She was honest with me and told me what the courts would/wouldn't allow from the very beginning so that nothing came ...as a surprise. She didn't push me towards any specific decisions, and she listened to every one of my concerns. When I first hired her, my relationship with my son's father had recently ended, and he was being very emotionally and mentally abusive towards me. She was able to give me legal advice on how to deal with the abuse, along with what I could do/say in order to make him stop harassing me. I felt as though I could be open and honest with her about everything, and she was very kind to me through this entire process. I'm very thankful to be able to have her as my lawyer, and I would absolutely hire her again, as well as recommending her to others.

Amy You have done such an amazing job with my divorce, you have thought of unforeseen obstacles. The best thing I did was first get the divorce but the second best thing was have you as my lawyer. You rock and are amazing, talented, smart and fierce! You always maintained a professional attitude.... Review: My divorce was difficult and not a clear cut case by any means. I wanted to keep my children safe and in a stable environment but still have contact with thier dad. I know that the children have gone through this like I did and wanted their life to be disrupted as little as possible. I also felt it was important to be honest and just stick to the facts without personal judgement during the mediation. I did not want to hurt nor did I have a vendetta against my ex husband. Amy always remained cool and listened well, she stepped in when needed and allowed me to talk when necessary. She was always three steps ahead of me before I even knew it. The outcome of the case I felt was fair for everyone, especially the children. When I first started the divorce proceedings I was in a bad place, working per-diem, would not qualify for health insurance and my income was unreliable. Amy made sure I was provided for until the divorce was settled, I pulled myself up and now feel the weight of the world off my shoulders. Soon I gained part-time then full-time, benefits and lawyer fees paid ahead of time while raising three children full time. amy is a kind, intuitive person with a sharp intellect. her compassion, patience and experience made her the perfect person to help me through a traumatizing divorce as it unfolded. amy repeatedly handled interactions with the court, the opposing attorney and my now-ex. she explained what was happeni...ng with the divorce process as it unfolded, offered suggestions and resources available to me as a newly single mom, and continues to answer my questions when they come up.
