About me

In the 35 years of my practice, I have enjoyed helping hundreds of individuals and families meet their goals in planning for themselves and their loved ones.  I have told countless clients that this is not my plan, but theirs. The only way for me to help them is for me to be actively engaged with them, listening to their stories and hearing what is important to them.  Once I am able to gain my clients' trust, and the trust of their advisors, we can collaboratively arrive at a plan that very often surpasses their initial goals.

  • Darcy K. Houghton

Rick and I are currently working together on a client plan. When working with high-net-worth clients and those who own businesses, it is critical to understand the clients' goals and needs and apply the right tools to help them achieve their goals. I value Rick's willingness to work together with the client's existing advisors. More than that, I appreciate his client centric focus, as well as his command of the tools needed to put together a cohesive plan for the client.
