I’m a trial attorney who brings years of prosecutorial experience to my criminal defense practice. After graduating from Suffolk University Law School, where I was a member of the prosecutors clinical program. Knowing I wanted to work both in New Hampshire and Massachusetts, I took each state's bar exam back-to-back, passing both on my first attempt. I served as an Assistant District Attorney in Middlesex County, Massachusetts’ largest county. I appeared in court daily, arguing bail hearings and evidentiary motions and regularly trying cases before judges and juries.
I came home to New Hampshire and joined the Criminal Bureau of the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office. I started out prosecuting unemployment fraud in the Superior Courts alongside the Department of Employment Security. I was later commissioned as an Assistant Attorney General in the Drug Prosecution Unit, where I prosecuted drug felonies and related civil asset forfeitures and was on call for homicide and officer-involved use-of-force investigations. I also briefed and argued appeals before the New Hampshire Supreme Court, securing favorable outcomes for the State.
Today, I draw on that experience to defend clients charged with felonies, misdemeanors, and violations in New Hampshire and Massachusetts courts, including related license proceedings before the NH DMV and Massachusetts RMV.

Excellent work navigating speeding ticket / suspended license
Shane helped navigate a tricky situation with a NH speeding ticket (and suspended license, realized after the fact). Great outcome. Highly recommend for anyone in a similar situation.

From hire to licence restoration!
Shane was phenomenal from the start. I had a unique and challenging case: two OUIs within six months. I also had previous ones. I thought I was done for. He was calm and reassuring without promising the moon. He walked me through the process, and his calm kept me calm, too. I was also going through a...

Exceeded my expectations
I can’t say enough good things about Shane and the team at Bowser Law. This was my first time ever being arrested, my first DUI charge, and my first time hiring a lawyer, so I was extremely stressed and overwhelmed. From our first meeting, Shane was knowledgeable, personable, and made me feel comfort...
