Kenneth A. Schreiber

Not to long ago, I had to deal with a situation, there were two numbers pulled from a phone book. My first call did not sit well with me. My second one was Mr. Schreiber. He invited me into his office, it was immediate that I knew he would take care of me, I felt at peace. There was no airs about him..., but a straight-forward truth to everything he said and did. I enjoyed our conversations and sharing of life stories, like two brothers. When I saw a flag that had the word "hope" on it in the courtroom, I knew I was watching an artist who filled that room with hope. When Mr. Schreiber would say "How are you my friend" "Take care my friend", I knew he meant it. When I would thank him for all that was done for me, his response would humbly be" It's my job". My thought was that it is his calling and he answered that call everyday. To this very day when I call the office, he would respond immediately as a friend, not a lawyer. I was meant to meet this gentleman, and there are no words that would express my gratitude for this gift. For all that he does for me, but most of all, being my true friend. I am writing this review without coercion nor was I approached to write the review. I was researching the internet and spotted an article that led me to this website. Attorney Schreiber is a compassionate person, a family man and cares about people. Our son made two poor choices in his young life and... after being out consuming alcohol got behind the wheel of his car intoxicated above the legal limit and was stopped and charged. Fortunately on both occasions it was normal traffic stops without accidents or involvement of others. The two cases were separated by two years in between. Our son was in the middle of a Doctor of Pharmacy program. As one could imagine my wife and I were devastated. Our son was mandated to inform his school of the events and he was put on notice of possible expulsion due to the ethics involved with being a Pharmacist. The second case occurred in January 2015. Two years had lapsed from the 2013 case. Attorney Schreiber was able to petition the courts and seal the first case. This left our son with one open case. During this entire time, Attorney Schreiber put himself in our shoes as a dad of a son about the same age. He fought on behalf of our son we felt as if he were his own. The stigma of lawyers are they are just ambulance chasers. My wife and I found Attorney Schreiber through the local yellow pages. My son and our family couldn't have been more fortunate to have found such a hard working Attorney who knows people and the legal system as well as giving sound advice to consider different options. It is with gratitude and the fortunate circumstances of having Attorney Schreiber represent our son that he just graduated his six year program from college as a Doctor of Pharmacy. Our son realizes he was so fortunate to have had representation from Attorney Schreiber to have learned the life's experiences he did and graduate. I wholeheartedly would recommend Attorney Schreiber to anyone in the State of Rhode Island. It is not often that one would come away after spending thousands of dollars on an event that was unplanned and could have been avoided but walk away thinking it was money well spent. In this case, my wife and I would do it all over again with Attorney Schreiber because of the positive attitude he exudes and the total experience he provided in representing our son. Anyone reading this review, please don't hesitate if you need representation and call Ken, you will not regret you did. You will possibly see other reviews but we are just normal working people who were terrified of our sons actions and in our case what I wrote about Attorney Schreiber is from the heart.

All lawyers have good and poor reviews. I have dealt with several lawyers in my past experiences and I think some of those lawyers write some of their own reviews. I will not choose a lawyer based on reviews alone. I won't hire an attorney until I have met with him or her. I got Ken's name from a fri...end of mine, who is a past client of Ken Schreiber. So I went and met with Ken and I hired him. Our case is now resolved and I am not disappointed. I have gone back to Ken's office on a couple of smaller matters. I will continue to use Ken Schreiber in the future. Thank you Ken!

I was in some trouble one day and a family member recommended Ken, he made me feel at ease and resolved the problem, which is exactly what I needed. I feel like nowadays people love to post a negative review but don't give credit where it's due. I've had a few cases now with Ken over the past few y...ears and currently working through one and I wouldn't want anyone else to handle the cases besides Ken. He always returns my calls, if I mention it's urgent, he even calls me on his court days, always wants to make sure I understand the process and the outcome. Over the years we have developed a relationship and have become personable which I feel is important, he makes me feel like I'm on top of his priority list. I believe that he is very well known throughout the court system, which is an added bonus to the work he presents.

I used Mr. Schrieber for a suit that I had against my former company and it was for a significant amount. I spent a great deal of time with Ken, and yes, it wasn't cheap, but when the chips were down, I ended up winning the suit and also a big settlement. He is great in court, and understood the iss...ues. Confused about the other reviews because I think he is great.
