Attorney Schreiber handled two Family Court Legal matters for me over the past 5 years. I must say, I always felt like his number one client. I don’t know too many Attorneys that will contact their clients at night, on weekends, or even when they are away on vacation; Attorney Schreiber did all three.... There were numerous times where he contacted me well after dinner time, to answer a question for me or make me feel better about a situation that we were in the process of getting settled in court. Mr Schreiber took on our case after other attorneys could not help. We were interested in protecting our granddaughter, who was already in our care. The state of Rhode Island is not one who makes it easy as they would rather see a child caught up in the "system" than in a healthy environment. Mr Schr...eiber fought hard for our granddaughter. He took chances and guided us through the unnecessary, complicated, and frustrating process. RI is not a "best interest of the child" state. It is a "best interest of the parent, regardless of the predictable outcome for the child" state. Without the dedication Mr Schreiber brought, we positively would not be caring for this child.
